Hacker's Memory 52 HM
MatayoshiOh, there you are. I'm glad you came.
MatayoshiI don't believe you've met. This is Officer Date.
日時Oh, you're Ryuji's friend. But you don't look too reliable.
日時Detective, are you sure we can trust him?
MatayoshiDon't worry. The fact that Hudie chose him says all you need to know.
日時I guess you're right.
日時But if you get in our way, you're out on your ear! No slacking!
プレイヤー(I remember Ryuji saying that Matayoshi is a legendary detective who used to be known as
"Shinjuku Matagi.")
"Shinjuku Matagi.")
プレイヤー(He told me what he did to become so famous, but it was pretty long and I forgot.)
プレイヤー(I can't believe I'm working with the legendary Shinjuku Matagi. This is going to be interesting!)
プレイヤー(Now I need a title for Date. How about...the
"Kabukicho Maverick.")
"Kabukicho Maverick.")
プレイヤー(Yeah, that's perfect. I've got a knack for this!)
日時Sir, are you sure about this guy? He looks like a bit of a joker.
MatayoshiI guess we'll find out soon enough.
日時Isn't Ryuji coming?
日時You can't be serious!
プレイヤー...!
プレイヤーNot happy with Hudie's promising new recruit?! Would you rather Ryuji was here instead of me?!
日時How dare you take that tone with a police officer?!
日時As soon as Hudie realizes how useless you are, they'll throw you out in the garbage along with the stale hamburger buns!
MatayoshiCut it out, you two! The suspect's arrived.
プレイヤー...!
プレイヤー(That thing again...)
プレイヤー(But what's it doing in Shinjuku? I thought it appeared in Ikebukuro?)
MatayoshiWhat's the matter?
MatayoshiWhat? Something like that chased you around Ikebukuro?
MatayoshiThat's not what our intelligence said.
プレイヤー???
MatayoshiAccording to what we heard, it just stands completely still all day long.
MatayoshiIt doesn't do anything. It's as if it's just killing time in Shinjuku.
MatayoshiAs I said, it's like a statue.
MatayoshiIt doesn't seem to pose a threat at present. Maybe this isn't a police matter?
日時Of course it is! It must be up to something!
日時A drug dealer, a lookout, a spy...! It could be anything!
プレイヤーYou might be right. It's just a promotional character.
日時Can't you keep your big nose out of anything?!
日時A promotional character? No way.
日時See that look in its eyes? It's no amateur...
日時What are you looking at me for? You think you know better than a police officer?! If you wanna get arrested so badly, I can make that happen!
MatayoshiGive it a rest! Are you trying to draw attention to us?!
日時Sorry, Detective Matayoshi...
MatayoshiSo...what now?
Matayoshi…つづく
MatayoshiHey, you two. Time to get to work.
MatayoshiInvestigate the suspect, but don't touch it.
MatayoshiIf it is the same as the one in Ikebukuro, something has to make it react.
MatayoshiGot it? Calm and casual. Just act natural.
日時Understood! Calm and casual! Calm and casual!
日時Hey! I can see what you're thinking! But say one word and I'll make you regret it!
