On the Shores of Another World 19

JunomonThank you, Great Guardian Aegiomon.

JunomonPlease continue to wield your might for the sake of the Digital World.

AegiomonContinue... For the Digital World...

PlayerYou planning to stay here?

PlayerYou're not going back to human society?

PlayerWill you be leaving us?

Inori MisonoLet's not talk about that right now. Aegiomon doesn't know how to answer.

JunomonNow, then. Tell me more about the conflict with the Titans, if you would.

JunomonThe Current... Are you certain that is what the Titans said?

JunomonThe Current is the source of this world's power.

JunomonI imagine the Titans are plotting to take it for their own and thereby expand their territory.

JunomonThe Current flows outward in all directions from the World Tree in the Gear Forest.

JunomonIf the Current is truly what the Titans seek, then in all likelihood their objective is—

AegiomonThe Gear Forest... right?

JunomonThat is correct, Great Guardian Aegiomon. Could I ask you to go to the Gear Forest next?

JunomonAnd humans... Now that we know the Titans are after the Current, we must be even more careful about using the gate.

JunomonWhen the gate was opened three years ago during the clash with the Titans, it affected both this world and your own.

JunomonThere were human casualties in that incident, and some began to bear a grudge against the Digimon because of it.

PlayerThree years ago?

PlayerIf there were human casualties, then...

PlayerThe accident your mother and little brother were involved in...?

Inori Misono...I think we're talking about the same incident.

JunomonFor that very reason, please understand that I cannot open the gate until public order is restored.

Inori MisonoWe'll head to the Gear Forest with Aegiomon, then.

Inori MisonoThe gate can be opened once peace is restored, right?

Inori MisonoAnd if it's true that the events of this world affect ours...

Inori Misono...then the problems of this world are our problems, too.

Inori MisonoYes. They are our problems...

Junomon...Very well.

JunomonThe World Tree is at the center of the Current. You will find the enemy's forces concentrated more than ever before.

JunomonPlease be careful. I shall pray for your safety, Great Guardian Aegiomon. And for yours as well, children of man...
