Stats & Equipment

Stats

Stats at a level

Each Digimon has level 1 stats and one of 18 growth curves that add a fixed amount every level. The current Personality adds its bonus per level gained, so changing Personality at level 50 recalculates the 49 levels already gained. The Lv. 99 column on the stats table uses the base Personality.

stat = level 1 stat + growth curve at level + Personality bonus × (level − 1)

What each stat does

SPIMagic damage taken and healing amount.
SPDTurn order: faster Digimon act more often.

Critical hits

A critical hit deals ×1.3 damage. Every attack skill starts at a 5% critical rate; CRT Rate from equipment, Personality Skills and Agent Skills is added to it, and CRT Rate Up / Down buffs add or subtract their amount. Critical damage bonuses (such as the Crimson Dragon Data Fragment's 20%) raise the ×1.3.

Each hit of a multi-hit skill rolls its own critical.

Buff stacking

Each stat keeps one total: all its Up buffs are added, all its Down buffs are subtracted, then equipment and Agent Skill percentages are added. The total is applied once. Two ATK Up 20% give +40%; ATK Up 20% with ATK Down 10% gives +10%. Re-applying a buff that is already active refreshes its 3-turn duration.

Max HP and Max SP buffs change the maximum, not the current value. Damage dealt and damage taken bonuses stack the same way and apply after compatibility.

Accuracy and evasion

Each skill has its own accuracy (listed on its page; 100% for most). ACU raises the hit chance and the target's EVA lowers it. ACU and EVA come only from equipment, buffs and Agent Skills: no Digimon has a base value and they do not grow with level.

Equipment

Equipment bonuses add to the stats before buffs. The equipment list has all 111 pieces with where to get them. Best bonus per stat:

Guards raise one element affinity by one step (Weak becomes neutral, neutral becomes Resists, Resists becomes Immune). Walls make the Digimon immune to one status. Attack pieces add a status chance to normal attacks. The USB Sticks work from the reserve too.

How it works

Stats, Skills & Equipment

Make sure to carefully review the data of your partner Digimon.

Not only will you be better able to understand their hidden powers, but you're bound to find hints on how to better train them as well.

You might even find inspiration for some new strategies.

Digimon can also be enhanced by changing their Attachment Skills or equipment. If you obtain any Skill Discs or equipment, be sure to equip them.

ATK/DEF/INT/SPI/SPD/CRT Rate

ATK: Affects how much physical damage is dealt to enemies. DEF: Affects how much damage from enemy physical attacks is reduced. INT: Affects how much magic damage is dealt to enemies. SPI: Affects how much damage from enemy magic attacks is reduced and how much HP recovery skills heal. SPD: Affects turn order in battle. CRT Rate: Affects the rate at which critical hits (1.3x damage) occur.

Attributes

Vaccine Data Virus Free Variable Unknown In-Training I and II Digimon are No Data.

You can confirm a Digimon's Attribute via their stats screen.

Attribute Compatibility

- Favorable compatibility: 2x damage - Unfavorable compatibility: 0.5x damage - No Data, Free, Variable, and Unknown have no favorability toward other Attributes.

Elements

Each Digimon possesses an affinity with each of the elements:

Fire, Ice, Plant, Water, Electricity, Steel, Wind, Earth. Light, Dark, and Null.

These affinities affect their elemental resistances, as per below. ◎: 2x damage ○: 1.5x damage -: No effect △: 0.5x damage ×: No damage

Your offensive options may also possess an elemental affinity.

- Attack: a normal attack without elemental affinity. - Skill: an ability which may have an elemental affinity.

Damage is increased when the attack is of a target's elemental weakness, and damage is reduced when against a target's elemental resistance.

Simply look at the damage output display when selecting a target to view an attack's compatibility.

Traits

Each Digimon possesses Traits which are based on their type and characteristics. Certain special skills are effective against specific Traits, resulting in 1.5x damage dealt.

You can view the Traits of enemy Digimon via Analyze during battle.

Battle Members & Reserve Members

Digimon that participate in battle are split into three categories:

Battle Members: Digimon which enter combat at the start of battle Reserve Members: Digimon which you can substitue battle members for during battle Guest Members: Digimon which have temporarily joined your party and conduct battle independently

Strategize and change between battle and reserve members in order to make effective use of enemy weaknesses.

Attachment Skills

Your partner Digimon are capable of equipping "Attachment Skills," allowing you to change their abilities at will.

Up to 4 skills can be equipped using "Skill Discs."

Skill Discs can be obtained in a variety of ways, such as purchasing them in shops, finding them in treasure chests, or gaining them when your Digimon level up.

Set your Digimon's Attachment Skills by navigating your Digivice to Digimon > Setup > Equipment/Skills, then selecting a slot under Attachment Skills.

Attachment Skills (Skills Discs) can be removed and re-equipped to other Digimon.

Use Attachment Skills to compensate for weaknesses, to further enhance strengths, or to counter compatibility issues.

Equipment

"Equipment" consists of upgrade patches which enhance your Digimon's capabilities.

Set your Digimon's Equipment by navigating your Digivice to Digimon > Setup > Equipment/Skills, then selecting a slot under Equipment.

Equipment can be removed and re-equipped to other Digimon.

Equipment can be obtained in a variety of ways such as via shops or from treasure chests. There are also rumors of equipment that can only be obtained from particular Digimon.

Skill Discs

These items let you change your partner Digimon's Attachment Skills.

Go to Digimon > Setup on your Digivice to change Attachment Skills. Note: For more details, see Tutorial > Battles > Attachment Skills.

Skill Discs can be obtained in various ways, such as by finding them in treasure chests, or by purchasing them in a shop.

Inventory

The items used by an agent are categorized below.

Recovery: Recovers your partner Digimon. Enhancement: Strengthens your partner Digimon. Special: Sells at a high price or is used under certain conditions. Equipment: Equips onto your partner Digimon. Materials: Used in the Crafting Shop. Farm: Used on the Digifarm. Valuables: Important for conducting your missions.

Conversion & Scan Rate

Create new partner Digimon based on battle data.

Digimon can be Converted once their Scan Rate is between
100% to 200% (the maximum).

Defeating a Digimon in battle increases the Scan Rate of that Digimon. When you find a Digimon you are looking for, keep on battling it. You can check the Scan Rate of each Digimon on your Digivice under "Digimon > Convert."

The closer the Scan Rate is to 200% at the time of Conversion, the higher the new Digimon's Talent and max HP will be.

Returning Digimon to Data

Unfortunately, there will be times when you must say farewell to your partner Digimon.

In order to do so, select "Return to Data" to return the Digimon to its underlying data and convert it into funds.

Note that you'll permanently lose any Digimon that you return to data. Make sure to be careful when using this feature.

Load Enhancements

This feature allows you to transfer one Digimon's data to another through synthesis.

The resource data (material) Digimon will be converted into EXP to be absorbed by the base data Digimon. A portion of its Talent and cumulative stats will also be inherited.

The source Digimon will be converted into data to be passed on to the next Digimon.
