Dialogue

The God of Speed's Wish 1 14 lines
CrowmonWe have to find better fighters!
The Titans are strong... We need to be thoroughly prepared!
OperatorIt looks like you've traveled through time again... but something's off this time... Aegiomon isn't with you.
OperatorNo sign of Inori, either. No doubt she was swallowed up by the space-time disturbance, and Aegiomon went in after her.
OperatorIt's likely she was swallowed up by the space-time disturbance. Aegiomon seems to have gone in after her.
OperatorWhile their safety is a concern... the bigger issue is that you traveled through time without Aegiomon present.
OperatorNamely, the fact that you traveled through time without Aegiomon present.
Operator...
OperatorNow that I think back on it, you were alone during your first time travel as well.
OperatorIt just may be that... we've made a big error in judgment.
CrowmonLord Merukimon is preparing to take the field, too. Do you think he can even fight in that state...?
OperatorMerukimon's upcoming defeat is what leads to the Titans invading the human world.
OperatorIf only Merukimon were healthy, it just might be enough to change the outcome of the battle.
OperatorWhat about Venusmon, the Digimon working to remedy the poison? Any word on her progress?
The God of Speed's Wish 2 32 lines
OperatorMerukimon being alive is solid proof that you've traveled through time.
OperatorWe need to try again—to keep the Shinjuku Inferno from happening.
OperatorI'd like for you to try again—to keep the Shinjuku Inferno from happening.
PlayerThis time, I WILL get to the truth.
PlayerIn the name of ADAMAS, I'll see it gets done.
PlayerI'm worried about my missing friends, too!
OperatorSeeing the same anomaly repeatedly has enabled us to glean new information on its origin.
OperatorThe Titans appear in the sky above the government building. Then Merukimon's remaining forces engage them.
OperatorOnce public safety and their weapon gets involved, we have a three-way fight. If only we knew what that giant arm was...
OperatorIf only we knew what that giant arm was...
OperatorPerhaps the gate's opening and the shockwaves of the battle cause some kind of effect... and then a massive disturbance.
OperatorAnd that's how the Shinjuku Inferno unfolds... So if we stop the Titan invasion of our world, we stop the worst of it.
OperatorIn which case... logic dictates that preventing the Titan invasion of our world would also prevent disaster.
OperatorIn other words, if Merukimon can defeat the Titans and survive, the outcome may change.
OperatorThe outcome may change.
OperatorNo worrying about the consequences of rewriting history this time. We may have been wrong about everything, after all.
OperatorThe reason being that, in the first place, these jumps through time are—
MerukimonI see you are alone... Is something wrong? Are you here to speak with me?
MerukimonThe enemy is concentrating their forces on Central Town... Our own units have already engaged them.
MerukimonI have a different favor to ask of you... We find ourselves beset by another crisis.
PlayerThe operation will fail!
PlayerYou can't defeat the Titans...!
PlayerYou're going to die out there!
Merukimon...Wh-What? How do you know this?
MerukimonThe operation... will fail? How do you know this?
Merukimon...Time travel? The world... will end?
MerukimonThis is hardly the time for insipid jokes—
Merukimon...
MerukimonThat look on your face... You are not joking, are you...?
MerukimonOr, rather, what would you have me do? My comrades are already fighting in Central Town!
MerukimonIf only there were some way to alleviate the poison eating away at my body... Please give me some time to think.
MerukimonI must inform my comrades who are preparing... that we are going to delay our departure.
The God of Speed's Wish 3 4 lines
VenusmonThank goodness we made it in time!
VenusmonWithin the Gear Forest, I found this growing from the sapling under which Sirenmon slumbers!
VenusmonThe fruit of Karpos Hulē! With this, we can cleanse the poison from Merukimon's body!
VenusmonAs long as I have the ingredients, compounding it will not take long. I can only hope it will be ready in time...!
The God of Speed's Wish 4 5 lines
MerukimonWhat...?
MerukimonMy body feels so light...! The antidote may be working!
MerukimonAnd to think I nearly had given up hope...! You have my heartfelt gratitude, O time-traversing hero.
MerukimonA ray of hope after days of quiet suffering... If we fail to grasp this chance, this time our future is truly lost.
MerukimonWe go forth to reclaim our pride, our soul! Now, to our home! Onward!
The God of Speed's Wish 5 4 lines
MerukimonWe will check the Titan incursion and turn them back. We will not let them take a single step into the human world.
MerukimonIf this prevents world destruction, then all the more reason to stake my all in holding the front. I owe you that much.
MerukimonYou had better not blink from now on. It could all be over in a flash the moment you close your eyes.
MerukimonThe enemy shall learn what it truly means to face down the God of Speed!
The God of Speed's Wish 6 11 lines
MerukimonWho is that?
Mystery DigimonIt is still too early...
Merukimon...What?
Mystery DigimonIn order to replace a gear... one must first open the cover of the clock.
Mystery DigimonEven a child knows this truth.
Mystery DigimonAnd so I say it is still too early.
PlayerWhat are you getting at?
PlayerAre you another kind of anomaly?
PlayerAre you on our side... or the enemy's?
Mystery DigimonEverything is going as planned... No deviations from the schedule.
Mystery DigimonAllow me to test this for myself.
The God of Speed's Wish 7 10 lines
Mystery DigimonAh... I see you have gotten stronger. Joyous news, indeed.
Mystery DigimonI will be waiting for you...
Mystery Digimon...in the place where the laws of time are engraved...
PlayerWhat was that all about?
PlayerWhat a creepy opponent...
PlayerI think it was holding back.
MerukimonI admit, I'm intrigued as well... However, for the time being, allow me to simply make this declaration.
MerukimonThis was my... no, our dearest wish.
MerukimonWe have reclaimed more than mere land! We have restored our pride, our very soul.
MerukimonCentral Town belongs to us once again!
The God of Speed's Wish 8 6 lines
NarrationThe mystical medicine wiped the poison from Merukimon's body, and strength returned to the fleet-footed warrior.
NarrationTogether, with his trusted allies, Merukimon rose up. It was time to take back their city from the invading force.
NarrationThe renewed Merukimon put his vaunted speed on full display.
NarrationTogether with his comrades, Merukimon scattered the Titan army and reclaimed their city.
NarrationFinally back where they belong, Merukimon's people worked tirelessly to restore their broken home...
Narration...and soon the city was back to its vibrant self, a haven for all Digimon of Iliad.
The God of Speed's Wish 9 13 lines
Mirei MikaguraThe Akashic Vision activates, even without Aegiomon present.
Mirei MikaguraWhat could this mean...? When all the clock's lamps are lit, the truth shall be revealed.
Mirei MikaguraSeven remain... May the higher being watch over you, chosen ones.
You've received a message. It looks like there is a video attached to it.
OperatorI'm sorry... It looks like this is as far as I can accompany you.
OperatorADAMAS HQ will be swallowed up by a massive space-time disturbance any moment now.
OperatorOnce that happens, my very existence will be erased... So all I ask is... remember me.
OperatorRemember that I existed...
OperatorIf I see Dr. Yuki on the road ahead, I'll tell him...
Operator...tell him his kid is trying to save the world.
Operator...
Operator...I'm glad you and I got to work together. Thank you for everything you've done.
OperatorI guess that's it. The rest is up to you, Agent Player.
The God of Speed's Wish 10 7 lines
MerukimonIf what you say about seeing the future is true... then it is too early to celebrate.
MerukimonI have word that the humans' weapon has not been deployed yet. Most likely due to our success in stopping the Titans.
MerukimonBut if what you say is true... this is not a cause for celebration yet.
MerukimonIf the Titans intend to invade the human world, it is only a matter of time before they clash with the humans themselves.
MerukimonPlutomon, the leader of the Titans, resides in a location known as "the Dark Field."
MerukimonWith the bulk of the Titans' forces in Central Town, the Dark Field is apparently only lightly guarded.
MerukimonNow may be our chance to broker peace! But we need to find out what it is the Titans seek.
