Chapter 03: Demonslaying (HM) 5 HM

Steam Dealer Leader*cough* *cough* a-HACK!!! Wait! Wait, I beg you!

Steam Dealer LeaderSome of the polluted air, it...it got in my lungs! No for real, this isn't a tribute to my favorite movie or anything...!

Ryuji...All right, time to drop the act.

ChitoseGot that right. Now why don't you go ahead and spill the beans like a good boy?

ChitoseI'd be quick about it, or our newbie here might go hog-wild up in this place!

ChitoseDon't let his dopey face fool you. When his switch flips he's an animal! An ANIMAL, I tell you!

ChitoseJust the other day some punk from another team got up in his grill and he (beep)ed his (beep) right in the (beep)...

Chitose...with a dose of (beep) for funsies! He's mad, I tell ya!

Steam Dealer LeaderHe, he (beep)ed his (beep)?! And even his (beep)?!

Steam Dealer LeaderYou savage! It's true what they say about the quiet ones!

Chitose...It's a bluff! Just go with it!

ChitoseGuys like him eat this stuff up with a spoon! Now go on, look natural!

Player...That's right. You better fess up. If you don't, I...I might beep your...beep...

Steam Dealer LeaderOkay, I got it! I'll talk!

Steam Dealer LeaderEeeeeeeep! Please, anything but the beep!

ChitoseThen you better get with the talky-talk, and I mean toot sweet! And knock off that weird talk.

Steam Dealer LeaderUrk... Fine, I get it... We hackers gotta obey the alpha hacker, after all...

Steam Dealer Leader...We send a signal on a certain bulletin board. Then they'll tell us where the deal'll take place.

RyujiCall him out this second. Or else...

Steam Dealer LeaderEeeek! I get it, I get it!

Steam Dealer LeaderWe've got a deal coming up soon! You can meet him if you go to the meeting place!

ChitoseI'd call that a job well done!

RyujiIt's finally time for us to meet this "mastermind" face-to-face. Chitose, you deal with the clean-up.

ChitoseAll right! Just be careful, this guy is no slouch.

Ryuji...Chitose will stay here and negotiate with the Steam Dealers.

RyujiWe'll give them some other info or malware as compensation for the useful intel. ...Think of it as the cost of doing business.

RyujiWe take cases from a variety of teams. Yesterday's foe is today's client, and all that.

RyujiIt's too easy to make enemies in our line of work. Doing this is the best way to keep things civil.

RyujiChitose's good at this kind of thing. All sorts of teams need info brokers, you see.

RyujiSo why'd we have to fight, you ask?

Ryuji...Well, that's easy.

RyujiIt keeps things simple. Each side knows exactly where they stand with this method.

RyujiEDEN's hackers aren't exactly a...logical bunch.
