Main story (2)
Chapter 03: Demonslaying (HM) 8 HM 13 lines
KayabaWho would trust hackers on a payroll? I should be the one to look after my own piggy bank!
KayabaThat way I can catch any hyenas after my precious piggy... An ounce of prevention's worth a pound of cure and all that, eh?
KayabaIncidentally...those look like all of the accounts I just bought from Mephisto, yes?
KayabaThose accounts belong to a certain company's top brass...
KayabaGoing straight for my big moneybags, aren't you... I certainly hope you don't expect me to take this lying down, do you?
KayabaThis is why kids and you cheeky upstart hackers have no appreciation of money these days!
KayabaThere's no "clean" or "dirty" when it comes to cash! Money is potential in itself, you can do anything you want with enough of it!
KayabaPaupers can travel the world! Invalids can cure any disease!
KayabaEven your most hated foes will kneel before you in disgrace! Anything's possible!
KayabaWhat's wrong with putting one's nose to the grindstone to earn said potential? What's wrong with raiding a few accounts to get it?!
KayabaAnd who said I'd let you go without a fight?
KayabaI'll have you return my precious piggy bank...
KayabaAnd while I'm at it, PROTECT MY PRECIOUS ACCOUNTS!
Chapter 03: Demonslaying (HM) 9 HM 12 lines
KayabaWait, hold on! It's my loss, all right?! I admit defeat, that's good enough, surely?!
KayabaP-Please! Anything but that!
KayabaDo you have any idea how much time and money it'll take to recuperate my losses without those?!
KayabaYou're only after the account data I bought from Mephisto, right? Then just take the ones you want!
KayabaHackers these days...
KayabaIs this flimsy sense of "justice" really all you care about?
KayabaYour account...? What are you jabbering about?
KayabaI only target corporate or government accounts. What would I do with an account from a kid like you?
KayabaI, I don't know. The only guy I used was Mephisto.
KayabaWell...I haven't heard anything lately, but there were some rumors about a skilled account raider.
KayabaFor a time, he was raiding accounts all over EDEN, a real hotshot. I believe they called him...
Kayaba..."Hosaka." Yes...Akira Hosaka.
