Chapter 01: Back-Alley Hackers (HM) 8 HM

Ryuji...We should be safe this far away.

RyujiErika, Chitose, can you hear us?

Ryuji...Shit, the Digital Waves are more jumbled than before.

PlayerWhat was that thing just now? I wonder what happened to Shiga...

RyujiNo clue. That was my first time seeing something like that. It wasn't a Digimon, or malware...

RyujiSomething weird's been going on in Kowloon...no, in all of EDEN lately. Hope it's nothing serious.

RyujiYou saw him get swallowed up by that monster... Let's check his account status when we get back.

Ryuji...Don't get all mopey just because the first clue didn't lead anywhere.

RyujiIf that guy was a bust, just start looking for the next clue.

RyujiOr have you given up already?

RyujiI mean, that works, too. You'll be seeing the type of danger you faced just now almost every single day.

RyujiWhether you continue on or not is up to you.

RyujiThen enough with the long face, already.

RyujiAt least you're not alone anymore, right?

RyujiCongrats, you passed the test. ...Just barely, but a pass is a pass.

RyujiWelcome to Hudie, kid. You're one of us now.

RyujiLet's head back to the "shop." Our buddies are waiting for us.
