WormmonThere you are! Over here!WormmonI fell around here somewhere!Player...?
WormmonI'm sure of it.WormmonI can't see anything that looks like a junction, but I know this is the right place.ErikaThe connection might be too unstable to see. Hold on. I'll try stabilizing the values.
Player...!
WormmonWow! There it is! The hole I fell through!ErikaIt worked. And it looks like the link to the Mother Eater has been activated as well.
WormmonHow did you do that, Erika?ErikaSuedou's paper gave values for the approximate location of the Mother Eater. I just tried connecting to them.
ErikaIt was just like opening a back door.
Player...
WormmonYou won't be able to get back to the Digital World through this hole.ErikaI'm using the Eater network to force it open, so it's impossible.
ErikaAnd there's no guarantee it will lead us to the Mother Eater.
WormmonI see.ErikaBut if this method can be improved, it may one day be possible to make a path to the Digital World.
WormmonReally?!ErikaYes.
ErikaOkay, this is it.
ErikaOnce we infiltrate the Eater network, we need to secure an Eater.
ErikaI'll hack it and disguise us as Eater information.
ErikaThat way we shouldn't be attacked even when we're close to the Mother Eater.
WormmonLeave it to me! If we get surrounded by Eaters, I'll hack them all!ErikaYou need to stay here and keep watch.
WormmonHuh?! Why?ErikaSomeone needs to stand guard here. I'll share the procedure for controlling the route. I'm counting on you.
WormmonBut...but...I want to save Chitose.ErikaI know, but you might not be ready for that yet.
WormmonHuh?ErikaThis is an extremely hazardous mission. Some very dangerous things could happen.
WormmonDangerous things?!ErikaI thought you were the only one I could trust with this mission, but now we have Player.
WormmonLeave it to me, Erika!WormmonAfter all, I'm a hacker Digimon! And the future Vanguard!WormmonI've got this!Erika...
ErikaI don't know what will happen once we enter the Eater network.
ErikaThat's why I have to leave him behind.
ErikaWormmon isn't exactly reliable, and then there's his clumsiness...
ErikaBut it's true that I want someone to guard the entrance.
ErikaI'm relying on you.
ErikaI know you won't let me down, Wormmon. Or should I say...Van... What was it again?
WormmonVanguard! You can count on me!WormmonThis is great. Erika's already starting to see me as the Vanguard!WormmonHackers, Digimon, anyone...do your worst!Wormmon...Wormmon...WormmonI hope they come back soon.
